Booked a wine tour with Waves of Wine while in Margaret River. Couldn't recommend more highly - Jeremy is a legend and the day ran very smoothly from pick up all the way to drop off. Stopped at some great wineries and had a phenomenal experience with the tastings. The blind tasting and learning how to identify wines by characteristics was a highlight. Our guide was exceptionally knowledgeable about every wine we tasted and every venue we visited. From the coff and choc experience, to learning how to properly taste, smell, and evaluate wine, to the absolutely stunning views at Beerfarm, we thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of the tour. Do not hesitate to book simply because you are not part of a large group. We met Aussies, Kiwis, Americans, and Belarusians, and it created a fantastic blend of personalities, cultures, and backgrounds. It made the experience even more memorable. We are extremely happy customers and will absolutely be back to do it again with our family!

Sun 3 May tour what a day Caroline was experienced in her role as hostess, she is not just a backpacking tourist but lives permanently in the area and has a masters in wine production her knowledge of the area and grapes was amazing I couldn’t recommend her and Waves highly enough.

How many people can you take?
Up to 13 guests in one vehicle. We have more than one tour vehicle available, so larger groups can still be looked after. Tell us your numbers in the enquiry form.
What does a private charter cost?
Charters start from $550. The final quote depends on your group size, the itinerary, the pickup location and the inclusions you choose, so we price each day individually rather than working from a fixed rate.
Where do you pick up from?
Complimentary pickup from Margaret River, Witchcliffe, Cowaramup, Busselton, Yallingup and Dunsborough. Staying somewhere else? Tell us in the enquiry and we’ll let you know what’s possible.
Can we choose the wineries?
Yes. Tell us your must-visit venues and we’ll build the strongest available itinerary around them. Individual venues can’t be locked in until the bookings are confirmed, so we’ll confirm the final list with you.
What can we include besides wineries?
Breweries, distilleries, art galleries, caves, gourmet food and coffee stops, a long lunch and coastal stops. Your chartered vehicle can visit almost any attraction in the Margaret River region.
Is lunch included?
Lunch is quoted separately, and there are several venues to choose from. Tell us what your group is after and the options come back with your quote.
Do you run charters every day?
Yes. 7 days a week, including holidays.
Can we add the Blind Tasting Experience?
Yes. For charters having lunch at Olio Bello it’s available as a $20 per person add-on, the same guided tasting method we run on the Daily Tour.
How do we pay?
Once your group and itinerary are confirmed we send clear deposit and payment instructions. There’s nothing to pay to make an enquiry.
Is there a deposit?
Yes. A $300 deposit secures a private charter booking and is non-refundable. The balance is arranged once your group and itinerary are confirmed.
What if we need to cancel?
Cancellations more than 7 days before the charter incur a 25% cancellation fee. Inside 7 days, and for no-shows, the full quoted price applies, including lunch and tasting fees.
What if we only need a driver?
We also run a private driver service for weddings, golf days, event shuttles and long lunches, with vehicles for up to 19 passengers throughout the South West. Get in touch and we’ll sort it out.
How is this different to the Daily Tour?
The Daily Tour is a shared small-group day you book by the seat, with a set structure. A private charter is your group only, with the itinerary, venues and pace built around you, and it’s arranged by enquiry rather than booked online.

Our private driver service covers weddings, golf days, event shuttles and long lunches throughout the South West, with vehicles for up to 19 passengers, from Busselton to Augusta.
