By booking with Waves of Wine, you agree to the following terms & conditions:

Recommendations

  • Bring a water bottle: Your body will thank you!
  • Consume alcohol throughout the day responsibly.
  • Respect the venue and its staff. If they offer you a glass of water, take it!

General

  • Food and beverages may not be consumed on our vehicles.
  • Alcohol cannot be consumed on board or carried open by law under section 119(a) of the Liquor Act. Large fines apply, and this is enforced by Police.
  • We accept no responsibility for lost and/or stolen property.
  • Passenger Safety: Passengers are fully responsible for their own safety during the tour. Waves of Wine is not liable for:
    • Any episodes related to medical conditions induced by activities conducted on tour. Including food/drink related consumption.
    • Injuries/reactions incurred from any tour related activities.

Please note: Passengers that endanger/disrupt members of the public, including winery employees will not be tolerated and if necessary, removed from the tour.

 

Please note: Waves of Wine will not be responsible for related transport costs if an individual is removed from the tour.

  • Vehicle Damage/Soilage: If a vehicle is soiled/damaged by a passenger while on tour, the passenger responsible for their booking will be charged for:
    • Any repair/cleaning/maintenance fees, plus a 25% administration fee.
    • Any ‘loss of business’ costs incurred from the unavailability of said vehicle.

Responsible Service of Alcohol

  • Tour guests should not drink alcohol 8 hours prior to pick-up.
  • If any passengers are showing signs of intoxication at any stage of the tour, they may be asked to take a break, or in extreme cases, removed from the tour.
  • Those who are tasting alcohol must be 18+ years of age, in accordance with the law.

Cancellation policy

  • Daily Tour
    • Outsideof 72 hours prior, tour bookings cancelled by the customer will incur a 25% fee.
    • Inside of 72 hours prior, tour bookings cancelled by the customer/no shows will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
  • Private Charters:
    • Outsideof 7 days prior, tour bookings cancelled by the customer will incur a 25% fee.
    • Inside of 7 days prior, tour bookings cancelled by the customer/no shows will be charged the full quoted price, excluding lunch and tasting fee costs.
  • Waves of Wine reserves the right to cancel a tour at any time at our discretion, including during the tour, due to:
    • Aggressive or antisocial behaviour, or if a customer displays signs of intoxication.
    • Passengers displaying intoxicated behaviour at pick-up, on the day of tour. This will be treated as a ‘no show’ and is subject to all appropriate fees.
    • Factors beyond our control such as:
      • Severe Weather
      • Vehicle failure
      • Bushfire

We will not jeopardise the safety of our customers and staff. Customers will receive a refund appropriate to how far through the tour has progressed. For example,

  • Half way through: 50% refund
  • Tour hasn’t commenced: 100% refund

Booking Process:

  • Please ensure you provide accurate information during the booking process, especially relating to
    • Dietary Requirements: Waves of Wine agrees to relay dietary requirements provided to the venues visited. If you do not provide us with your dietary requirements in advance, the lunch venue may not be able to cater to your specific needs.
    • Contact Details: We will send a text message to the mobile number you provide when making your booking with your exact pick-up time, no later than 6pm the day before your tour. Please ensure your contact details are correct when making your booking.

Important: It remains the sole responsibility of the customer to directly confirm with the venue staff that the contents of any food and drink offered is safe for the customer to consume, on the day of tour.

 

Please note: As industry standard, no restaurant kitchens can comprehensively guarantee that meals are 100% allergen free. As allergen sensitive meals are prepared in the same kitchens as non-allergen sensitive meals.

  • Private Charters require a $300 non-refundable deposit to secure the vehicle.
  • Processing Refunds: Any applicable refunds will be processed by the same method of payment, whereupon the customer may be liable for any relevant 3rd party fees.

Daily Tour

  • Pick-up Locations:
    • Complimentary pick-up is included within:
      • Margaret River town and surrounds
      • Cowaramup and surrounds
      • Gracetown and surrounds
      • Prevelly and surrounds
    • Pickups can be accommodated outside these areas, however a $40 out of area surcharge may be issued due to the distances involved.
  • Pick-up Times: The specific time of pick-up is highly dependent on location, group size and other factors. Please remain contactable on the day before the tour, so we can advise you on your specific pick-up time.

Please note: Pick-ups that are beyond the central Margaret River region (i.e.: Karridale, Metricup, etc.) may be much earlier. Please be prepared for an early collection.

 

  • Minimum passenger numbers: Due to costs associated with executing a tour, Waves of Wine requires a minimum number of 4 passengers on our Daily Tour. In the circumstance the minimum threshold isn’t reached, the tour may be cancelled.
  • Tour Structure Changes: In the circumstance that Waves of Wine is unable to execute a standard itinerary, an alternative itinerary of similar value will be offered. If left unsatisfied, your booking will be cancelled with a full refund.

Additional Requirements

  • Dress code: Smart-casual is encouraged.
