Spend a relaxed day discovering Margaret River on an itinerary that blends fine wine, local flavours and coastal scenery.
Most wine tours only take you from one cellar door to the next. We add the Blind Tasting Experience, which gives you the tools to assess any wine, in any setting.
Add an Italian-style lunch, a coastal lookout, chocolate and olive oil tastings and a craft brewery to finish. It adds up to a day in the region rather than a list of stops.

How the day unfolds
Door-to-door pickup
We collect you from your accommodation in Margaret River, Witchcliffe, Cowaramup, Busselton, Yallingup or Dunsborough. Your individual pickup time is confirmed by 6pm the evening before.
Chocolate tasting
The day opens at a local chocolatier, with coffees available for purchase while everyone settles in.
Surf-break lookout
Panoramic views over one of Margaret River’s famous surf breaks, where your guide explains how the region’s climate, geography and soils combine to produce its world-class waves, and its wines. Seasonal whale watching between June and November (sightings not guaranteed).
The Blind Tasting Experience
Your guide leads a flight of three wines using our tasting template, breaking each one into four simple parts: Sight, Aroma, Taste and Profile. You’ll make your own tasting notes before the group takes on a mystery wine: the blind tasting itself.
Italian-style lunch at Olio Bello
A shared table of Italian-style woodfired pizzas and seasonal salads, with a glass of wine.

Olive oil and skincare sampling before the wineries begin.
Winery 1
The first boutique winery of the day, where you put your new tasting knowledge to work.
Winery 2
A second boutique cellar door, and another chance to put the tasting template to work.
Winery 3, with a glass of wine & cheeseboard
A third scenic vineyard, where you settle in for a glass of wine with a cheeseboard.
Local craft brewery
A relaxed final stop to round out the day.

What’s included in the tour?

Are all the tastings included?
Yes. All standard tastings on the itinerary are included in the price. The only extras are additional drinks or anything you choose to buy at the venues.
Is lunch included?
Yes. A shared table of Italian-style woodfired pizzas and seasonal salads at Olio Bello, with a glass of wine.
Where do you pick up from?
Door-to-door pickup from accommodation across the Margaret River region, including Margaret River township, Witchcliffe, Cowaramup, Busselton, Yallingup and Dunsborough.
What if I’m staying outside the pickup area?
Get in touch before booking. Surrounding areas are often available on request, and we’ll let you know what’s possible.
What time does the tour start and finish?
The tour runs from about 10:30am to 5:30pm, approximately seven hours door to door. Your individual pickup time is confirmed by 6pm the evening before your tour, along with your pickup address.
What should I bring?
Comfortable clothes and a jacket in the cooler months. Everything else is taken care of.
Can you cater for dietary requirements?
Please tell us your dietary requirements when you book. Common requirements such as vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and nut-free can generally be accommodated, depending on the venue and the inclusion. We pass your requirements on to the venues, and we recommend confirming with venue staff on the day.
Do I need to know anything about wine?
Not at all. Many of our guests are beginner or intermediate wine drinkers, and the Blind Tasting Experience is built precisely for that: a simple, jargon-free way to work out what you enjoy and why.
Can solo travellers book?
Absolutely. The Daily Tour is a shared small-group experience, and the connections between guests are one of the best parts of the day.
What happens after I book?
You’ll get an instant email confirmation, then a message before 6pm the evening before your tour confirming your pickup address and individual pickup time.
What group sizes can book?
Solo travellers through to groups of up to 13 can book the Daily Tour, subject to availability.
Are the venue stops always the same?
The structure of the day stays consistent, but individual venues can vary with availability and the day’s route. That flexibility is how we put together the best combination of stops for each particular day.
What’s your cancellation policy?
Cancellations made more than 72 hours before departure incur a 25% cancellation fee. Cancellations inside 72 hours, and no-shows, are non-refundable.
If something changes, contact the team as early as you can and we’ll do what we can to help. A date change is usually easier than a cancellation.
Is there a minimum age?
Children are welcome to join the tour. Alcohol tastings are for guests aged 18 and over.
Is there a minimum group size?
Yes. The Daily Tour runs with a minimum of four passengers. On the rare occasion numbers aren’t met, we’ll offer you another date, a credit or a full refund.
